SourceConnect is governed product-truth infrastructure. It gives each connected physical product one official, machine-readable identity for approved product information.
Governed information, not scraped fragments
Governed product information can carry evidence, provenance, approval status, and version history. Creative story content is separate and is not automatically evidence-backed.
One identity, multiple access paths
Published information is available through canonical product URLs, JSON APIs, JSON-LD, Schema.org markup, OpenAPI-described endpoints, and GS1 Digital Link resolution. QR, NFC, and visual recognition are access paths to that identity, not the product itself.
Source-cited product answers
For a published, public product, SourceConnect can answer questions extractively from audience-visible published fields and validated e-label information. Answered results include source citations, conflicting approved values are surfaced, and unsupported questions return an explicit insufficient-evidence result.
